Est. 1992, Medpace was founded by a group of passionate physicians, clinicians, and researchers with a vision to revolutionize the conduction of clinical trials and create more effective avenues of research. Simply put, they wanted to make clinical trials better. Over the last 30 years, Medpace has grown into a leading Clinical Research Organization (CRO) with nearly 6,000 global employees and spanning 44 countries and counting.
In 2024, Medpace broke ground on a $327 million project that will restructure the Cincinnati campus. The Madisonville headquarters will see a total of three new additions: a nine-story office building, a brand-new Clinical Pharmacology Unit (CPU), and a six-story parking garage.
Regarded as one of the largest expansions in Cincinnati’s history, this development also takes the title for the city’s most significant job creation commitment. With a baseline dedication to adding 1,500 jobs, this record growth will carve the path for ongoing hiring initiatives. These campus developments present opportunities for continuous investment not only in the physical location of Medpace’s Madisonville headquarters but in Medpace employees. “We are creating a vibrant workplace with rewarding and challenging roles spanning specialized sciences to broader business functions,” says Jesse Geiger, President.

Building 600
Future home to the Clinical Pharmacology Unit, MARC, and CRO Logistics teams, the new Building 600 will total 75,000 sq. ft. Set to be complete in May with relocation commencing in June, this addition marks a new milestone in the campus topography.
Building 300
Medpace’s current Clinical Pharmacology Unit will be replaced with the new nine-story office tower. Keeping its current title, Building 300, the new office space will feature integrated parking and boast 562,940 sq. ft. With seven floors of office space and two separate parking levels, this new building will house CRO operations and is slated to open in mid-2027. The new structure will nearly double the campus total seating capacity with an anticipated addition of around 2,700 seats. This considerable addition will provide future growth opportunities as the Cincinnati headquarters continues to develop operations. “Between the new buildings and parking garage, we will have enough room to grow for years to come and to build upon our in-office collaborative culture,” explains Chris Pfaff, Global Head of Facilities.
East Parking Garage
The soon-to-be revealed East Parking Garage will increase current parking capacity by around 1,100 cars. The new garage will be situated behind the campus’s current Building 100 and Building 200 on the current east surface parking lot and will feature a solar canopy over the entire top level. This addition will provide shade for cars while generating significant solar energy to aid in reducing Building 200 utility use.
